Take Hwy 13 South to Winton.  Then follow the Winton directions above.

From Windsor
Take Hwy 17 North to Midway. At the stoplight in Midway, turn left onto Highway 45 North to Colerain. Turn left at stoplight on Highway 42 West toward Ahoskie. Travel approximately 3 miles out, turn left on Nowell Farm Road. Second buildings on the right are Oak Down Stables.

From edenton
Take Hwy 17 South to Midway, make a right at stoplight of intersection onto Hwy 45. Travel to Colerain, make a left at the stoplight on Hwy 42 West toward Ahoskie. Travel approximately 3 miles, turn left on Nowell Farm Road. Second buildings on the right are Oak Down Stables.

From Ahoskie
Take Hwy 13 South toward Windsor. Turn left onto Highway 42. Travel through Powellsville and continue about 8 miles until you reach Nowell Farm Road. Second buildings on the right are Oak Down Stables.
